It looks like the cones are just there to tighten up the corners. You do have a lot more freedom for course design when you are in a big ass parking lot. In St. Louis they set up some pretty good courses. They're usually bigger than the courses that most people post pics and vids of on here. but that course looks like a blast. I really like auto-x. I know its not everbody's cup of tea, but its fun for an afternoon on the weekend. you can open your car up more than you could on the street without fear of damaging your car or getting busted. plus its cheap. just my $.02
